From one passionate Inverloch local to another, you can rest assured ‘The Local’ (and your daily dose of caffeine) has been kept in safe hands.

You may recognise this friendly face as Terence has been a frequent customer of The Local since moving to Inverloch a few years ago and appreciates good coffee. He also appreciates the remarkable business that Nathan and his team have established here in Inverloch.

It has been one lifelong ambition of Terence’s to run his own cafe, with his passion for entertaining, cooking, and delicious food encouraging him to finally take the leap and fulfil his dream.

When he saw The Local advertised for sale, Terence immediately recognised the amazing opportunity to not only grow an already successful café and team within the community, but the chance to challenge and grow himself.

Terence is supported by his partner Bec, and their beautiful blended family of four. The kids attend Inverloch Primary School, while Bec is currently on maternity leave from her usual role in Residential Aged Care (RAC) after welcoming baby Mia into the world earlier this year. C-ute!

While it may be a curious year to take on a new venture, Terence sees taking on The Local as a rare opportunity to get established in a successful business within a town that only continues to grow and thrive despite all the odds.

He looks forward to working with the fantastic team at The Local and continuing to provide our loyal customers with the service they know and love, as well as looking for new ways to grow the business and go from strength to strength.
